Defensive Driving 3 Demerit Reduction Program (Alberta)

Course Overview

The Alberta government has authorized this six-hour online defensive driving course for the elimination of three demerit points from an Alberta driver’s license. A final test score of at least 80% is required to be eligible for a reduction in demerit points.

Audio, video and interactive tasks are all included in this course. This is the one for you for those who want a full defensive driving curriculum certified for demerit reduction. The SAFER System of Defensive Driving is taught in this course under the trademarked SAFER System.

You will get a government-issued certificate in three to five business days. Go to an Alberta register office with your government-issued certificate. One three-point decrease every two years is available to Albertans.
